Hey guys,
So a few people have asked me to create a meme of my work so far.
My journey began around 2006. There was other bits a pieces before that mainly cartoons and comic type stuff.
06 was when it began though after a summer with my Auntie Helen in England who taught me a different kind of drawing.
What this meme doesn't show is all the times I failed, all the times I doubted myself, and I still do to this day . When I look at someone a million times better than me now, I still feel shit . What you have to accept is hard work will get you there but in your own way and style
Hopefully this inspires some people. Everyone and anyone can draw, it is most definitely a skill that is acquired over time. What separates artists is really a matter of dedication, perseverance, hard work, and accepting when you fail and move on and learn from that. Also having a real passion for it will help.
I'm still learning and I have a huge amount to still learn. It's been fun creating this and seeing my journey so far..
The end of last year I was awarded my first Daily Deviation , I always dreamed of getting one when I first came onto this site and seeing all these awesome artists been awarded them. I thought that I wanted to be like them someday.
I was also featured on Juxtapoz.com this year too which was absolutely amazing.
